About U-Mall
On 26th February 2021, Dinesh Kumar Sharma Constructions Private Limited successfully won a bid from the Himachal Pradesh Infrastructure Development Board (HPIDB) for the Development of a Multi-Storey Parking-Cum-Commercial Complex at Mandi, on a land parcel measuring 4,509 sq. meters (05-11-12 bighas), under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode.
Following the successful bid, the company was entrusted with incorporating a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. The SPV would be responsible for the design, development, engineering, financing, procurement, construction, operation, and maintenance of the project. Accordingly, the SPV was incorporated under the name U-Mall Private Limited.
U-Mall is ideally located in the heart of Mandi town. The project comprises high-street retail, office spaces, a food court, and a multiplex. It will also host the first luxury venture in Himachal Pradesh. The high-street retail opportunities will be comparable to those offered by prominent commercial complexes such as Elante, VR Punjab, Bestech Square, and CP 67 in Punjab.
Leading brands and companies will be given preference in setting up their offices here. Several best-in-class retailers have already expressed keen interest in investing in this unique development.
